River Valley Place features two fully furnished, decorated, and stocked houses which can accommodate up to 18 overnight guests. Between the Country Cottage and the Modern Farmhouse there are 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 stocked kitchens, 2 complete laundries, and plenty of gathering space, indoor and out.
This is the perfect set up for out of town, traveling family and friends. Also for the bridal party to prepare for the big event!

At River Valley Place, you are renting overnight guest accommodations plus event venue grounds, together!
Our most popular package (Deluxe 3-day) will give you from Thursday (or Friday) 9:00 am, through Sunday(or Monday) 6:00 pm. Here you can have your rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding, reception, and day after gathering in one spot, spread out over an extended weekend.
No rushing around from multiple locations, no hurried set up, no night-of cleaning marathon. This is the ultimate low-key, but glorious, event experience.
River Valley Place allows wine and beer only to be served, not sold, to adults in a controlled fashion. We require the signing of our Alcohol Policy and Release agreement that outlines other rules and guidelines and provides a comprehensive release of liability for RVP.
River Valley Place completely cleans the entire facility before your arrival. Renters are responsible for cleaning up after events by bagging trash and placing it in the bins we provide. We ask guests to do a general cleaning and sweeping before they depart, we do the deep cleaning which includes mopping hard floors and cleaning the bathrooms. Vendors must clean their spaces and take their trash with them.
River Valley Place allows you to choose your own vendors as long as they are licensed and insured, however, we must approve them in advance.

Yes, our barn has interior and exterior lighting. And there are outlets inside the barn for your equipment.
We also have air-conditioning which provides for year-round interior comfort. The barn has ceiling fans for use in the winter for circulating heated air that tends to rise to the center and we have wall fans that circulate cooled air in the summer.
The barn is 50 X 32, providing 1600 square feet of interior space.
We hold to a standard typical with other event venues when it comes to noise. No free standing subwoofers allowed, standard speakers with built in woofers are ok. We enforce a noise curfew of 11 pm Friday and Saturday nights. We require a policy deposit that can be forfeited for violating our policies, including noise.
Yes, they do! Vehicles left overnight must be removed by 9am the following day or risk being towed at owner's expense.
Maybe. Depending on certain details of your event we may require you to purchase event insurance to cover your event at River Valley Place. The need for event insurance will depend on what activities you plan or if your guest count is over 50. This protects you and us from a liability situation. The policy must list River Valley Place as insured (certificate holder). Even if we don't require it, we encourage you to consider purchasing event insurance just to be safe.
